On the 3rd day of 2025, the Optiven army converged at the GMC Place Kitengela for the Thanksgiving Service centred on exponential growth. This coming together at the beginning of the year is symbolic as it represents looking back to acknowledge past successes and setting sights on the future.

The year of exponential growth is a strategy that focuses on expanding staff, with 61 new members joining in the new year, increasing our customer base and incorporating technology to automate our processes. Dr. George Wachiuri took to the podium to officially launch the year of Exponential Growth focusing on 3 core pillars; Growth, Efficiency and Compliance.

He emphasized these were the pillars to serve as a foundation for our strategic initiatives highlighting the importance of the 61 new team members joining the Optiven family. Additionally, the integration of advanced technology to automate processes would improve service delivery and our efficiency leading to better customer experiences.

“As 2025 continues to unfold, we must remain committed to compliance as it is a cornerstone of our brand identity. I urge all team members to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and accountability while conducting our roles,” he stated.

Joe Alando, General Manager Global office, was the minister for the day and in, his capacity took time to persuade us to pursue, overtake and recover lost opportunities. He encouraged us to not only strive for excellence but work to surpass what may have been missed in 2024. The guest speaker Mr. Robert Burale took time to remind us on the brand we represent and the importance of team work and collaboration.

Entertainment was in plenty from the energetic GMC team whose live performances and dynamic dances added a vibrant atmosphere and ensured everyone in attendance felt included. For many, the highlight of the day was the delicacy served by the GMC team that complemented the event and offered the team to reflect on the message shared. The perfect conclusion was the cake-cutting that ushered in the new year and set the tone for what promised to be a year full of unity and joy.

With a renewed sense of purpose and a focus on these three key pillars, the Optiven team left the GMC Place Kitengela with a collective resolve: 2025 – The Year of Exponential Growth.
