Reporting to: Associate Director – HR & Talent Development
Location: Nairobi.
Job Summary:
The role of this position will be to oversee all HR, Logistics and administrative processes, such as payroll supervision, benefits administration, recruitment procedures and onboarding processes as well as to monitor proper organizational and HR policy implementation to ensure the company’s compliance with local employment law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the HR record management to ensure compliance with the HR Records Retention Policy and other applicable legal and organizational requirements
- Develop and maintain HR and administrative policies and internal rules and regulations by recommending and implementing process enhancements and administrative procedures
- Supervise day-to-day administrative operations to maintain and reinforce good communication with all operations and administration employees.
- Oversee the performance of team members and offer them guidance, soft skill training, and other types of assistance.
- Recommend improvements to policies and practices to make sure the HR department operates as per industry standards.
- Draft and maintain HR employee records – personnel files, control methods, salary increase plans – and make sure the filling system is efficient and up-to-date.
- Audit the scanning and data integrity of the document management system to ensure accurate and timely data entry.

- Develop and implement strategies to streamline inventory management processes and minimize operational expenses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate transportation of customers to various company projects.
- Assist in the scheduling of maintenance of company vehicles and facilities maintenance.
- Undertake health and safety stock checks on company vehicles and replenish where required.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A Degree in Human Resource Management from a recognized & reputable institution of higher
- Certification in Human Resource Management i.e. CHRP will be a plus.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience working in Human Resources with three preferably in a supervisory level managing logistics and administration.
- Registered Member of IHRM.
- Computer proficiency, e.g., keyboard experience, email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS Systems.
- Knowledge of local employment
- Experience in interviewing, orientation, training and/or supervision of employees.
