Optiven investors within portfolios located along Mombasa Road are bound to enjoy the latest development in the country. This comes as President Dr. William Ruto signed into effect the new development after securing funding worth over four hundred and seventy seven billion shillings.
This comes into effect as the President is in the United States of America on a state visit. The funding will go towards the constructions of the second express way in Kenya that will cover a distance of 440 kilometres. Dubbed the Usahihi Expressway the infrastructure development project will be the largest toll road project on the African continent. The construction is expected to take three to four years.
Dr. George Wachiuri, the Optiven Group CEO while speaking in the United States of America where he is on an official tour of Georgia State said, “the milestone is commendable as it is historical and will be the open gate for Mombasa especially for our investors. I laud the government on this bold move that will connect cities and transform lives of Kenyans from all walks of life”.
