Mondays are for serious things… but 6th of May 2024 ushered in repeated celebrations for Mothers working across the Optiven Limited offices. With aplomb and glee coupled with motivation and medical information, the week was a great opportunity to single out the important role that mothers play not just in the society but in the workplace.
Leading in celebrating the role of women, was none other than the Associate Director for HR & Talent Development, Martin Waweru welcomed the weeklong celebrations and commended the staff who are mothers noting that they had exemplified a desirable work ethic as part of the Optiven Family.
The entire week was a bag full of surprises including treats and themed days that culminated in the savouring of chocolates, receiving flowers and delighting in pizza parties. Optiven Group CEO, Dr. George Wachiuri while in the United States of America sent a message of goodwill not just to the mothers at Optiven, but across the globle noting that, “Mothers are like glue.
Even when you can’t see them, they’re still holding the family together. The important role that mothers play in society cannot be ignored. Today and everyday we celebrate the immense contributions made by mothers across the world and especially in the workplace.
For us at Optiven, we have seen great milestones achieved by Mothers in our transformation agenda.
