Remember the project donated by the Optiven Foundation to Makobeni Community? The construction of the laboratory at Makobeni Secondary School is progressing well. The project which was launched at the beginning of 2024 is a need considered for the school which did not have a laboratory – a situation that affected the school’s admission and other operations owing to low enrolment.
Under the education pillar, the donation was made and approved by the Optiven Foundation Board with the Chairman Dr. George Wachiuri launching the project with a ground breaking. The project follows another at Kiama School in Gatanga where Optiven Foundation did an uplift of the facilities including the ablution block and wall perimeter fence, and at Korrompoi Primary School in Kajiado where Optiven Foundation donated a teachers toilet block and donated desks for the pupils.
